FIRST CHALLENGE:  Must use one of the three tools in the mystery box which will determine what type of cookie they will have to bake. In 1 Hour.

- COOKIE PRESS:  Spritz Cookie - Bill & Naylet,

- ROLLING PIN:  Rolled Cookie - Erin & David,

- SCOOP:  Drop Cookie - Dante & Stephanie,

- Spatula:  Layered Cookie - Terra & Punky.

RESULTS:

                  WINER:  Erin - has an advatage.

MAIN HEAT CHALLENGE:  Must use:  Bittersweet Chocolates, Fresh Oranges & Toffee Bits.  Take the ingredients & create 3 different cookies each one dozen each in 90 minutes.

- Erin's Advantage is she doesn't have to use the ingredients & have free rein of the pastry.

TWIST:  Must Use Rasberry Jam.

RESULTS:

              TOP 3:  Bill, Naylet & Erin.

                       WINNER:  Naylet.

             SAFE:  David, Dante & Punky.

            BOTTOM 2:  Terra & Stephanie.

ELIMINATED:  Stephanie.  She didn't know how to make cookie.  Why would you enter into the contest without knwing how to make cookies.

EPISODE #2:  Classic Holiday Flavors.                                                      7 Left.

START OFF:  The Bakers enter the Kitchen.

PRE-HEAT CHALLENGE:  Eggnog.

- Bake up an eggnog swirled treats in 1 hour. 

RESULTS:

          WINNER:  Terra - has an advantage.

MAIN HEAT CHALLENGE:  Playing with Sugar & Spices.

- 60 minutes to bake up a dessert feature at least 3 classic holiday spices & 2 sugars.

- TERRA'S ADV:  is having an electric spice grinder while the rest use mortar & pestle.

RESULTS:

-   TOP 3:  Dant, David & Bill.

                      WINNER:  Bill.

    SAFE:  Terra & Naylet.

-  BOTTOM 2:  Erin & Punky.

ELIMINATED:  Punky.

EPISODE #3:  Not the Holiday without Pie.                                             6 Left.

START OFF:  The Bakers enter the Kitchen.

PRE-HEAT CHALLENGE:  Store Bought Pre-Made Pie Crust.

- 30 minutes to make a baked dessert w/o ready made crust that not a pie.

                                WINNER:  Erin won an advantage.

MAIN HEAT CHALLENGE:  Pie.

- Make 3 Pies in 2 hours telling something about you.

Erin's Advantage:  10 minutes head start.

- Dante cut himself twice & bled all over his dough.  Had to start over.

TWIST:  Select only 2 pies to go the judges.

RESULTS:

                                  TOP 2:  Naylet & David

                                         WINNER:  David.

                                 SAFE:  Erin & Bill.

                                 BOTTOM 2:  Dante & Terra.

ELIMINATED:  Dante - his pie wasn't cook all the way.

EPISODE #4:  The Great Holiday Cake-Over.                                                  5 Left.

START OFF:  The Bakers entered the Kitchen where they see Wrapped Gifts.

PRE-HEAT CHALLENGE:  Bobby is giving them the wrapped gifts with a traditional baked item - a Holiday Fruit Cakes.  Reinvente the cake in 45 minutes.

THE JUDGING:

                  WINNER:  Erin  won another advantage.

MAIN HEAT CHALLENGE:  Yule Log or Buche de Noel.

- Bake up a holiday dessert inspired by traditional yule log , take it somewhere new & unique in 2 hours.

- Erin's Advantage is 10 minutes help with Duff.

THE JUDGING:

     TOP 2:  Bill & Terra.

           WINNER:  Terra.

    SAFE:  Erin.

    BOTTOM 2:  Naylet & David.

ELIMINATED:  David - cake wasn't nice spent too much attention on his decorations.

EPISODE #  Great Holiday Traditions.                                                 4 Left.

START OFF:  The Bakers entered the Kitchen.

             FINAL FOUR:  Terra, Erin, Bill & Naylet.

PRE-HEAT CHALLENGE:  Create a holiday treat with Hot Chocolate & some Peppermint Candy Canes in 45 minutes & featured a Baked component.

JUDGING:

                   WINNER:  Erin, again, won an advantage.  She's too perky.

MAIN HEAT CHALLENGE:  Create a holiday Breakfast Extravaganza featuring 3 Sweet Baked Breakfast Dishes in 2 hours.

ERIN'S ADV:  use of waffle iron & pancake griddle.  She was nice & geve Bill the pancake griddle.

JUDGING:

   WINNER:  Naylet - the only home baker left.

   SAFE:  Bill.

  BOTTOM 2:  Erin & Terra.

ELIMINATED:  Terra.

EPISODE #6:  Gingerbread Worlds.                                                               3 Left.

START OFF:  The Bakers enter the kitchen.

                  All the Judges are in the kitchen, too.

LAST CHALLENGE:  Create a gingerbread display based on a favorite holiday memory.  Also, Create 3 other ginger infused baked items to incorporate in 10 hours.

- Bill:  Gingerbread Ski Chalet based on memory from the Poconos Mts.

- NAYLET:  The Night Before Xmas,

- Erin:  Morning afet Xmas Tea Party.

TWIST:  Marzipan - Create a Marzipan decoration.

                THE WINNER IS:    ERIN.   (I wasn't too happy - she wins everything.)
